Physiothérapie Mère-Enfant is a center specialized in perineal rehabilitation, paediatric physiotherapy (for children 0-18 years) and respiratory physiotherapy.

Physiotherapie Mere-Enfant, by its unique model of clinic, its strong expertise, its equipment at the cutting edge of technology and the high quality of its care, is THE reference in rehabilitation services for families. Our customers now comes across Quebec and Ontario.

Genevieve La Fleche

Genevieve is the owner of Physiotherapie Mere-Enfant, that she has started to provide high quality specialized physiotherapy services to the families of the region.

Genevieve has completed a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in physiotherapy at Universite de Montreal. Since the beginning of her career, she has concentrated her practice with children, in Pediatric physiotherapy, by working at the Sainte-Justine University Hospital Centre where she still works part time. She has also worked in pediatric rehabilitation at Centre Monteregien de Readaptation and at the specialized school Jean-Piaget.

Having developed a great interest in perinatal mother’s health following her own pregnancy experiences, she started to practice perineal and pelvic rehabilitation with women (pre and post-natal)of all ages and children. Genevieve has additional superior university studies in this field.

Genevieve is a member in good standing of the Ordre professionnel de la physiotherapie du Quebec (OPPQ).

Mother of four young kids overflowing with energy, she understands very well the reality of families. Native of Vaudreuil-Soulanges, she is committed to work in our beautiful region. Genevieve is much appreciated by families for her professionalism, her gentleness and her dedication.

SHANNON MCSHANE

Shannon is a physiotherapist renowned for her expertise in pediatrics. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from McGill University in 2007. Since then she has worked at the Montreal Children’s Hospital where she has had the opportunity to treat patients with a wide variety of diagnoses (torticollis, brachial plexus injuries, neurological conditions, children with sports injuries or post-fracture, etc.) She has acquired numerous specializations by taking continuing education classes specifically related to topics in advanced pediatrics. Working in a university health center has given her the chance to participate in many research projects as an investigator.

She is a member in good standing of the Ordre professionnel de la physiotherapie du Quebec (OPPQ) as well as being a member of the Montreal Physio Association, a non-profit organization tasked with fostering the advancement of physiotherapy through networking and education. She is also a presenter at the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Quebec’s annual conference.

On a personal level she is the proud mommy of two beautiful daughters. She lives in Pincourt and wants to provide services and support to the families of the region. She wants to be involved in the community and can’t wait to meet your little treasures.

Physiotherapist in pediatrics and perineal rehabilitation

CHLOÉ VANIER

Chloé completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physiotherapy at McGill University. She is a member of the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ).

She is passionate about pediatrics since the beginning of her studies and also works part time at the Montreal Children’s Hospital.

She also has a great interest in perineal and pelvic health. She developed this passion after taking her course in perineal rehabilitation for the treatment of urinary incontinence in women during her master’s degree and continues this expertise through continuing education.

She loves yoga, movies, camping, running and hiking.

Alexandra Renaud

Alexandra is a graduate of the bachelor’s and master’s degree continuum in physiotherapy from Université de Montréal. She has been working since 2011 with an external musculoskeletal clientele at the Saint-Mary Hospital Centre.

She is a member of the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ) and is bilingual (French and English).

She decided to go back to school to refine her knowledge in an area that she was passionate about, being a mother herself: women’s health. She obtained a diploma in perineal and pelvic rehabilitation from the University of Montreal.

Since she loves sport, it will be her a great pleasure to accompany you for your return to your favorite physical and sports activities.

Gabrielle Dufort

Gabrielle is an occupational therapist who graduated from the continuum of bachelor-masters in Occupational therapy at the University of Montreal and she is a member of L’Ordre des Ergothérapeutes du Québec (OEQ) since 2013. She speaks English and French fluently.

During her studies, she had an internship in a private clinique where she got to work with young children and since then, she has developed a profound passion to help them develop to their full potential. She has also completed her masters research in sensory integration and processing disorders. After her graduation, she has worked with many different clients in CLSC’s with the elderly as well as young children. She has also worked in an outpatient psychiatry clinique in an intensive care team in mental health. Gabrielle has also worked for many years as a camp counselor with kids aged between 0-5 years old as well as young adults with learning disabilities and special needs while completing her studies.

She is also studying at Limoges College to obtain her degree in Naturopathy.

She is also a mom of three little ones that are active and full of energy!

Gabrielle has always been passionate about children and she loves to have fun. Her gentleness and her energy will be appreciated by your little ones!
